Vedic Maths India is Back with a Bang!
Ok, so we are back. It's been a while and a lot of water has flowed in the River Ganges, since I last blogged here on Medium in 2018 and on the Vedic Maths Forum India Blog in February 2019. A lot has happened since then and I will be updating you with all the news, happenings and the projects that I have been involved with!
I was anyways updating you of the happenings on my Vedic Maths India Facebook Page and also from our Vedic Maths India Twitter account. But now you would be getting updates from me more often here on Medium.
So after almost a year of hard work with our team, we launched our AI-enabled Vedic Maths Chatbot in 2018 which teaches students Vedic Mathematics via conversations. The same can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
Vedic Maths can now be used to help SAT Aspirants. Over the last year, we created a complete team of Online SAT Math teachers and some amazing content around the SAT. I am happy to announce that our teachers can now take classes on SAT round the clock 24|7.
The Draft New Education Policy 2019 gives importance and focuses on Indian Knowledge Systems. We expect Vedic Mathematics to be included into the mainstream curriculum this year! And this news bought immense joy to all the members of the Vedic Maths Forum India team. Our story even got some great press reviews recently.
Every year we get some amazing invitations to work on Vedic Maths projects and give talks on the topic. This year 2019 we gave a talk on Vedic Maths at an NGO in Kolkata — Nivedita Shakti which works for the upliftment of woman and woman empowerment through education.
I spoke on Vedic Maths — Mastering Squares, Cubes, and Quartics- The Vedic way! at a TEDxYouth event at the La-Martiniere Girls College in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The interactive talk was very well received and I look forward to seeing the same on Youtube soon. I am thankful to Ananya Agarwal from the TEDxYouth@LMGC event for her kind invitation to speak at this power-packed event.
The Vedic Maths Forum India Teacher Team organized a Workshop at the Calcutta International School and the Lakshya International School in Andhra Pradesh.
